Can I have any money in my bank account during sequestration?

Published in Debt Advice Features on Sunday, December 03 2006 by Ideal Debt Solutions

Yes, and there is no limit on this.

However if you were building up a cash surplus, then the trustee would almost certainly have an interest in this money and ask you to make a contribution into the bankruptcy for the length of your sequestration, that is usually three years.
