In bankruptcy, an individuals employment could be at risk, there are many professions that can be affected by bankruptcy, probably too many to list but we will take a look, at the most common ones.
(i) Cannot hold certain public offices, such as MP, councillor or magistrate
(ii) Cannot practice certain professions, such as solicitor and accountant
(iii) May not hold office as a trustee of a charity or a pension fund
(iv) A bankrupt cannot be a company director or trade under any other name than the one used at the time of bankruptcy order
(v) Cannot be an Estate Agent
(vi) May not practice certain a profession that involves handling money on a day to day basis.
(vii) Cannot work within financial institutions
(viii) Security firms may not want to employ an un-discharged bankrupt
